Hi, my name is Lydia, I am a Cadette Girl Scout with Troop 849. I am helping organize this program because I think it will benefit Safe Passage and help those people who have been abused. I think a 5K is a great idea to raise money to purchase things for Safe Passage. Personally I have run many 5Ks and they are fun!:D

On April 27, 2013 Troop 849 will be raising money with a 5K run. This event is our project that will earn us the Silver Award, which is the second highest award in Girl Scouts. We are organizing the run to raise money and awareness for the organization Safe Passage. With the money we raise, we will buy things they need. Please help someone in need with running, volunteering, or just being a donor.
